Mother's Day Activities that will Melt your Heart

There is nothing better than receiving a Mothers Day Gift from the special little person in your life. It is even more special when kids have made the gift themselves.

At My Creative box, we are all about creating special memories with kids and raising competent and confident learners. Some of our favourite quality family bonding moments are from doing art and craft activities, cooking with kids and playing! They are simple and fun, but make the best memories!

If you are anything like me, Mother's Day gifts are left until the last minute, so we have you covered with some cheap and easy activities and last minute gifts that I promise Grandparents, Godparents and even you will love.

Learning Printables

We have created a few learning printables for you to download and print at home to make a last minute Mother's Day gift and engage your child in some fun activities all about love.

1. Love Heart Cut and Sort-   This activity will            encourage you child to sort hearts into size and colour as well as count out the hearts to match the number on the jar.

2. Free Mother's Day Gift Cards- You will love these,       just simply print and cut them out and your little one can give you a gift one at a time. They include things like, give Mum a foot massage and read Mum a story (so cute, you'll thank me later!)

Heart Tracing Print this out and encourage your child to trace the different sized hearts (pre-writing activity). This is great fine motor skill practise while building eye and hand coordination.

4. My Mum Page- Simply print off this page and encourage your little one to draw a picture of you (better yet get someone else to do it with your child). Then your child will colour in the colour of your eyes, hair, your favourite drink and a love heart scale of how 'BIG' they love you! Believe me I love looking back on these and having a giggle, they make the best treasures.

5. Toddler Hand Print Card- Simply print out this card and encourage your little one to make some hand print flowers. this is another gorgeous keepsake and has the cutest poem in the inside. When printing, remember to do two-sided printing.

Print and cut out these words and symbols and encourage your child to match them to spell out 'I Love You'.
