Easter at Home
This Easter is going to look and feel a little bit different to what we are used to. We just wanted to let you all know that we are here and we are feeling the same way as all of you and we will get through this together.
Although Easter will not be the same, it doesn't mean it has to be any less fun. So on top of connecting with your friends and family online with some of the amazing social apps such as Skype, Google Hangouts, House Party, Zoom and Face Time to name a few, we have put some things you can do as a family together at home to make sure you can make this Easter one to remember for all the right reasons!
I hope you can get some ideas from here that will bring some fun and smiles to your family this weekend.
Stay Safe xx
This is such a nice activity to do as a family to enjoy some quality time together and is adaptable to all ages which I love! All you need is some food dye, vinegar, paint brushes, eggs and water and I bet you have all of them at home already!
So much fun and safe enough to eat! Maybe a little healthier than the chocolate ones 😉
Recycled art and craft activities are so much fun and such a valuable way to teach children about recycling and taking care of the environment.
We love how these egg cartons have been transformed into cute Easter hunt baskets and we are sure you have these materials at home and can get creative using your My Creative Box paints and any left over materials you might have at home!
They can perfectly fit in your eggs from your Easter egg hunt too! 🙌🏻🐰
Have some fun and get the whole family involved in an egg and spoon race! An old-time favourite sure to bring some laughs your way! Pretty please send all of your videos to us 👏🏻
Make some yummy Easter treats as a family
These recipes are super cute and easy to make! Get those little hands (clean hands) into the kitchen helping as they will love being involved in making these treats and taking pride in sharing them with their family on Easter day.
Movie nights are so much fun! Get your house looking like a cinema and get out some bunny movies. We love Peter Rabbit, Hop and The Dog Who Saved Easter.
I love the idea of using some cute little clues to your Easter egg hunt! It's a great way to get your child thinking and using some problem solving skills at the same time as well as helping them with some language and direction.
Simply print these cute Easter egg hunt clues off, cut them out and get ready to use them. Don't forget the Easter bunny will need to put them into the places the clues lead to first 😜
